We have an ongoing inclusivity drive where our members visit different areas in the country to educate and sensitize communities about the rights of children living with disabilities. We let these societies know that a child living with disabilities and those that don’t have any zero difference from each other and deserve the same love and care. In Uganda, some parents kill their children in an act dubbed ‘mercy killings’ for such reasons as ‘they do not deserve to suffer.’ We are against such barbaric acts and that is why we do what we do.
